As a speaker at our event, it's important to take every opportunity to get your name and company in front of prospective partners and customers. This speaking engagement is a prime platform for you to spread your name in the sector, get your views heard and increase your profile.

1. Linkedin.com discussions and forums We use Linkedin.com to generate discussion and for delegates and potential delegates to network. This online forum is a perfect place to promote your involvement, to announce your presentation and get feedback on core concepts prior to the conference. 2. Event banner for your signature To promote your involvement in this event, we can send you a personalised banner/link for your email signature. This can then announce your involvement as a speaker in this event, and highlight the topic that you will be addressing. Further, this can then be hyperlinked to a special registration page that facilitates a special speaker contact discount.
3. Press releases During the marketing of this event, several pre-releases will be sent to a vast range of media outlets. Please supply us with 50-60 words, preferably statements about what you see as the major challenges for the sector, and we will be sure to include these in the press releases, increasing your exposure, both in your sector and more broadly through additional business publications.
4. Interview During the marketing of the Smart Homes 2010, we will be sending a bi-monthly newsletter email-shot, which will include the latest updates on the smart home market. This will also feature interviews into key speakers, giving their views on smart home development, challenges facing their projects and insights into their deployments. This is a great opportunity to promote both your business, and increase your personal profile in the sector. 5. Web Link We can customise a link for your website, announcing what you will be addressing, and showcasing your involvement. This can be listed as a banner on your homepage, or alternatively, as a listing on the events section of your website. We will happily customise as required. Once again, this will have a special link attached that will facilitate a special discounted rate for anyone who wishes to attend that is a contact of yours. 6. Specific Mailings We can invite individual contacts on your behalf to attend the conference offering them a 20% discount. We can send out hard copy brochures to your contacts, promoting your participation.
